These are great for blow drying in waves or smoothing. The handle fits my small hand. The metal on the barrel heats but does not damage the hair.

These brushes really grab the hair and make styling easy. They are pretty stiff and can bite, but I try to be careful when using. I have two of them - a small one and a large one.

Don’t grab the hair

I've been happily using another brand for many years. I purchased this SV in 2" and 1.5" I because of the inclusion of boar bristles. While the boar is not visible, I can definitely see a positive impact, they truly add shine and smoothness. For that reason, I love this brush. I especially like the 1.5" brush for curl. The brush is easy to work with when twisting out the curl. In comparison to the other brand, I am disappointed in this handle. I have small hands and yet I find this tapered handle too small and not as comfortable, it can be slippery and tiring compared to the ridges in the untapered rubbery handle of the other brand.

I've been using another brand for years. Now that it was time to replace, I decided to try this 2-inch. I love it so much I will purchase the 1.5-inch next. While I really can't see the boar bristles, I know they are there. This brush truly grips and creates more tension and shine, yet glides easily through my fine hair. There is less static using this brush. The handle is comfortable, especially love the thumb grip. The slight concave design is invisible to my eye, but I do seem to get the lift. Grips hair to create smooth blowout

This was my first Sam Villa Thermal brush, I really like the dual bristles. The grip on the brush is almost seamless, therefore hair doesn't get caught on the handle. The ease that comes from using this brush is very nice. I also purchased the .5" diameter brush and that brush works great for drying bangs, and short hair. The .5" gives huge volume at the root for my A-Line clients

This brush is nice it little strange at first the hair doesn’t quite grip to it but maybe needs sometime to be broken in. Overall nice brush :satisfied:

Best round brush I’ve ever used

I have a lot of thin curly hair that I sometimes like to blow out in loose waves. This brush is much more gentle to use than some of the other ones I have tried. It helps me keep volume, rather than pulling my hair flat.

This is the best thermal brush I’ve ever used! I use one of them everyday on my clients. The mixture of bristles in it is an outstanding design. The control and finish I get with it has been unparalleled with any other brush. Best round brush hands down!
